Boloco Tel: 617-369-9087 Website: www.thewrap.com Hours: My Rating: ***1/2 Review: Formerly known as
The Wrap, Boloco serves up a variety of burritos that run from basic (beans
& rice,) to inventive (Asian slaw, peanut sauce, cucumbers). All burritos are available with tofu
instead of meat. The Bangkok and
Teriyaki burritos are vegan, and several others can easily be made vegan by
leaving off the cheese. There’s also
the option to “build your own” if you’re feeling extra fussy. Everything is made to order, so your food
won’t be sad and soggy. Not bad for a
chain restaurant. 8/04/07 Boloco Tel: 617-262-2200 Website: www.thewrap.com Hours: My Rating: ***1/2 Review: Formerly known as

Indian Restaurant in Bukowski’s Tavern Tel: 617-437-9999 Website: n/a Hours: Mon-Sat My Rating: **** Review: Bukowski’s is an awesome Irish pub located in Boston Back Bay. It’s 21+ and
cash only (there’s an
ATM inside!), and has an extensive beer selection. During happy hour the food is fantastically
cheap, and for a place who is known for their hamburgers, Bukowski’s has a small but excellent vegetarian menu. Most of the veg options can be made vegan
and the portions are filling. For
those wishing to indulge in a Beef n Beer without the beef, this place come
highly recommended. And the atmosphere
and the reasonably priced food make it a great place for teetotalers
too. They have a second location in Click

across from the Prudential center, Chilli Duck serves traditional Thai
cuisine in a hip and cozy atmosphere.
Their small but delicious vegetarian menu is entirely vegan. All of the entrees, curries, and noodle
dishes give you your choice of various meats or tofu, so many things on the
menu are vegan friendly. While I’ve seen several places cite Chilli Duck as a great place for “Cheap Eats”, I found it to be a little pricey at $10+ a dish. However the portions, presentation, and
palatability of the dishes make up for the price. Delivery is available on orders of $15 or
more, for a fee of $1.50. The Elephant Walk Tel: 617-247-1500 Website: www.elephantwalk.com Hours: Mon-Thurs My Rating: ***** Review: This upscale
restaurant serves award winning Cambodian and French Cuisine, with a large
vegetarian/vegan menu. The Elephant
Walk was voted best vegetarian restaurant in 2001, and for good reason. The food here is amazing, and their wine
list is impressive. If you’re looking
for a simple, elegant meal, this place is it.

says that this is his least favorite Indian restaurant ever, and I think I
agree. This Indian restaurant’s motto
is “Not Fast Food, It’s Gourmet Food Fast”, however there’s no disguising
that this is place is really and truly a fast food joint (It’s in a mall food
court, for crying out loud). The food
here is cheap, and I guess you get what you pay for…greasy, blah food. They have two other locations in Tel: 617-536-1695 Website: www.kashmirspices.com Hours: My Rating: ***** Review: Ok, I will admit it, I am a sucker for
Indian food. I think this place is
amazing, and apparently a lot of other people do too, because it’s been voted “Best of Boston” several times. The lunch buffet is affordable, and has
plenty of veg options(it changes daily).
The weekend brunch buffet is supposedly even bigger, but I’ve never tried it. As is often
the case, not all of the vegetarian options are vegan - some contain dairy. I’m sure the wait staff can help you figure it out. Everything on the menu is available for
takeout, delivery is available, and they even do catering. The Other Side

of Mexican fast-food restaurant with over 200 locations across the
country. While it’s owned by Jack in
the Box, the food and atmosphere at Q’Doba is a far cry from what you might
expect at their parent company’s burger chain locations. Both of their vegetarian burritos are
vegan, as is the tortilla soup. Since
your food is made right in front of you with “fresh” ingredients, you can
customize your meal and be certain that no one is slipping any dairy into
your food. I’m not terribly impressed
with their food – it’s oddly oily, and what my friend Boogie would call
“White-boy Mexican food”. Located in
